About the Event
Switzerland is infamous for being super expensive, but if you come with us you will save yourself a small fortune and a ton of hassle.
This hiking trip is a truly bewitching and unforgettable experience with views that will take your breath away.
We will hike two mountains. One of which has a waterfall running down our path and at the top a restaurant awaits with delicious alpine food and drinks where we stop for an hour to recover from the strain.
The second mountain is more gentle, passing by a dairy farm and ending on an amazing lake where we can swim if the weather allows.
The weather at the end of June in Gstaad is usually mild and sunny, perfect for a hiking trip.

When we arrive in Geneva, your guide will purchase group rail tickets to our hostel and the train ride is the beginning of this bewitching trip as it twists and turns around mountains, over lakes and chocolate-box villages.
Thursday will be spent mostly travelling and settling into our accommodation and the rest of the evening will be planned according to the weather. Perhaps a nighttime hike to watch the sunset?
Friday and Saturday will be our main hikes.
On Sunday we spend the morning visiting the village of Gstaad or going for a mountain toboggan ride.
ATTENTION
The Swiss Alps are very steep and parts of the trail will be along sheer cliff edges. You must have a good head for height and a reasonable fitness level.
On the other hand, our group is not a fast-paced hiking group, so be prepared to slow down and enjoy the views if you like to walk fast. Bring your best camera and let your mind relax.
You must take adequate insurance that covers mountain rescue as this can cost thousands of euros.
You will be expected to wear hiking gear for the mountain hikes, including hiking boots/shoes, sports trousers, tops and a backpack.
This is not a tourist holiday. You must be a hiker, so you know what to expect on a mountain hike.
