About the Event

Tryfan is absolutely one of the most iconic and exciting mountains in Wales, and the North Ridge ascent is a fun scramble with views over Ogwen Valley. Definitely not for the faint of heart - the ridge includes a Grade 1 scramble which has left many people frozen on the spot due to fear of heights.

This path is absolutely thrilling.  This circular walk begins and ends at the car parks at Llyn Ogwen, then heads up the north ridge to the summit of Tryfan and returns via the south ridge, continuing on to Glyder Fach and down Cwm Idwal.

Llanddwyn Island and Newborough Beach at Anglesey Island

Llanddwyn is not quite an island as it remains attached to the mainland at all but the highest tides. It provides excellent views of Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula and is part of the Newborough Warren National Nature Reserve.

Located at the far end of Newborough Beach, you’ll find Llanddwyn Island (Ynys Llanddwyn); a truly magical place and one of Wales’ most beautiful places to visit.
