About the Event

Village hop by minibus visiting two of the most beautiful villages in England.

Castle Combe is a quintessentially English village often named the ‘prettiest village in England.' The village sits in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in northwest Wiltshire.

Castle Combe has featured regularly as a film location, most recently in The Wolf Man, Stardust and Stephen Spielberg’s War Horse. It was also used in the original Dr Doolittle film.

The village has a rich history and the houses are made up of the honey-coloured Cotswold stone, typical for a village of this area.

Within Castle Combe, you’ll find a Market Cross and St Andrew’s Church which dates from the 13th century. The church houses a faceless clock which is reputed to be one of the oldest working clocks in the country.

Bibury is an absolutely charming, typical Cotswold village once deemed by William Morris to be ‘the most beautiful village in England,’ Bibury will amaze you.

The famous Arlington Row, presented as a notable national architectural conservation area, is one of the six places in England to be featured in Mini-Europe Brussels and also on the inside cover for all United Kingdom passports. Arlington Row is preserved by the Royal College of Arts and it has been used as a popular film and television location, most notably for the films Stardust and Bridget Jones’s Diary.

Bibury’s quintessential English charm, with a wonderfully attractive setting, is a unique experience.

And of course, we go for a lovely hike in the surrounding countryside for more beautiful views.
