About the Event

Cadair Berwyn and Pistyll Rhaeadr

Join us on a hike to a little know Welsh mountain with beautiful views and a famous waterfall.

Pistyll Rhaeadr is often referred to as one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. The waterfall is formed by the Afon Disgynfa falling in three stages over a 240-foot cliff-face, into the Afon Rhaeadr below.

It is the highest waterfall in England or Wales with wonderful rock formations.

Cadair Berwyn or Cader Berwyn is a mountain summit in northeast Wales with a height of 832 metres above sea level. It is the highest point in the Berwyn range, the highest in North East Wales and the highest significant summit in Wales outside the National Parks.

This hike isn't as tough as Snowdon, but it does have a couple of steep elevations that will get your heart racing.
