About the Event

A FEW DETAILS

YES ! We are finally getting there ! A vaccine , the cases are dropping dramatically and we are fighting , life is coming back to us slowly but surely as we can organise outdoor events again ! The restrictions are being carefully eased so let's enjoy in the best and safest possible way by getting back to hiking and what a better way than ... finally ... 😁 going for this Royal walk and say hi to Her Majesty the Queen !

Who knows we might spot her wandering the gardens or corridors of Windsor Castle .

My name is Jon and I will be your guide , and I meet or meet again fantastic and friendly people on every single of my hikes so I would like to thank you in advance for all the fun that we are about to have !

We will start in the gorgeous Sunningdale and its manors , countryside and its many red Kites , a bird of prey that had almost disappeared 20 years ago and that is now Thriving in the region .

We will walk alongside the lake where and will discover the waterfall and Roman ruins before heading through the woods that will take us to the Great Park and the top of the hill from where we will descend on Elizabeth's home .

We know , we know , we all lack exercise , so let's start with an easy one , not too far from London and let's get rid of those packs of chips and chocolate bars that we all have swallowed in front of the telly ! EVERYONE IS WELCOME , NEWBIES OR HARDCORE HIKERS

DIFFICULTY : Pretty Easy , let's try to keep you alive on your first hike (back)!

DISTANCE : About 10 Miles ( possibility to walk an extra hour and visit the gorgeous Windsor )

STATIONS : We will be meeting at Sunningdale rail station at 10.15 am and we will come back from Windsor station .
