SOLD OUT Hastings to Rye - Sea, countryside and waterfall - 17 miles

Join us on this challenging but beautiful hike along the coast from the beautiful town of Hastings to the picturesque village of Rye. 

 This 17 miles, 27 km route will take you through some seriously gorgeous landscapes.  

We will walk past Hastings castle, built in the 11th century by William the Conqueror, reminiscent of the famous battle whose ruins will remind us of the ancient history of the town, while we are making our way to the wonderful country park.  You will be surrounded by some beautiful views along the coast and in the nearby countryside where we will be sweating our arses off.  

Once we have reached the postcard village of Rye, we will be able to have a few well-deserved pints at a local pub for whoever likes a drink and/or a little bit of gorgeous traditional food.  This trip is capped at 20 people like most of our hikes and Dean will take good care of you!

Meeting Point :  

Charing Cross station at 9am where we will buy our group tickets.  

What to bring :  

- Some cash for the train  (We will buy group off-peak day return tickets from London to Sevenoaks saving us 33%)  - Good walking shoes (preferably hiking shoes)  

- Appropriate clothing for the weather  

- A backpack with a packed lunch and plenty of water
