PRIDE HIKE PARADE + BEACH PARTY ! Lewes to Brighton - let's celebrate diversity

We live in a world where being yourself is often a challenge, because of your skin colour, your belief or non-belief, sex, disability, caste, nationality, sexual orientation or identity.

Luckily and with the help of courageous people, our society has evolved and is still evolving little by little and allows us to now be ourselves, even the law in the past years has changed and made a closer step towards equality.

SO LET'S CELEBRATE TOGETHER!

Let's get sweaty, fill our belies and have a few drinks and spend a good time with lovely people from every background! 

Hiking Nation is a club that celebrates diversity, we love you just the way you are, wherever you come from or what you believe in, we only hate hatred and love all of our Mudafacas!

Pride is not only about celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community... it is a celebration for existing in harmony, acceptance, equality, and above all, it is a celebration of FABULOUSNESS! So let's be fabulous!

Gay, transgender, straight, Muslims, Christians, atheists, men, women, cisgender, vegans, carnivorous, black, Indian, French, or whatever, you are all invited!

The money that we will raise on the day will be donated to a Metro Charity (https://metrocharity.org.uk/) and this is their commitment:

"We promote health and wellbeing through our transformative services to anyone experiencing issues relating to sexuality, gender, equality, diversity and identity, and use our unique insight from these transformative services and our diverse heritage to influence decision-makers and to effect positive change."

ITINERARY

We will meet at 10 am at Victoria station and take the train to Lewes. 

Optionally meet at 11:30 am at Lewes Station.

This town, whose early settlements dates back to the Iron age, home to the Anglo-Saxons and has been the location for an ambush that King Henry VIII and his army had managed to escape reminds us of its rich history, in every corner.

We will walk through hills and woodlands, all the way to the unofficial LGBTQA capital of the UK and one of Britain's favourite seaside town, Brighton and its beaches.

There will be a party group waiting for us with drinks, nibbles and food at the final stop, by the beach.

So get ready and join us on this day of fabulous celebration!

- Pride colours (flags, t-shirts, balloons, hats,  etc...)

- Hiking gear or gym clothes

- Hiking shoes or strong trainers

- Waterproof jacket

- Waterproof overtrousers (optional)

- Water bottle

- Backpack

- Hiking poles (optional)

- Some money for drinks and food in the evening

ATTENTION:

1 - It is your responsibility to ensure you check messages on this event and private messages sent to you before the trip starts and up to the morning of the trip.

On occasions, meeting location, time and other details might have to be changed and the event could also be cancelled last minute in case of extreme weather or other unexpected events.

2 - No refund will be made if you cancel as this fee goes to charity.
