"Fuck this shit! It is too hot to hike." Wet Hiking in Hastings

HIKE TECHNICAL NOTE Length: 7 miles / 11 kilometres Distance: 4 hours of walking plus 1 hour on the beach Elevation: 1670 feet / 500 meters

What da feck is wet hiking?

Honestly, I just made that up. We basically go hiking up a beautiful cliff along the coast, then down along the beach (bitch? beech?) have a dip in the sea, dry off and hike some more.

Where de feck would we do that?

A "Secret" Beach in Hastings, bitch, for extra hot-wetness. Oh baby!

This is an interesting walk, that is hilly, but oh so beautiful cooling off in the sea will make it all more fun and comfortable.

This is a dramatic and hilly coastal clifftop circular walk.

The walk starts and ends at Hastings Train Station

In front of the old town is the working beach, with its distinctive black clapperboard houses, beach-launched fishing boats, Jerwood Art Gallery, and a nice view from the seawall.

• Descent - as above, but backwards

The train is hourly and punctual, and for that reason, we cannot wait for latecomers. Make sure to give yourself extra time in case of transportation problems which is very likely at the moment.
